Our department of Transport offers transport services to medical facilities for our clients who live in the area of Boka St. Michiel up to and including Westpunt. Medical facilities include among others: the clinic, physiotherapy, Thorax Center, primary doctor, specialist, laboratory. Clients with less stable physical health and/or in a wheelchair can use this service.

After the general practitioner or specialist has made the care request, the client or family member must register at the head office of Stichting Thuiszorg Banda 'Bou.

Other non-medical facilities are considered private and these costs are charged to the client.

- The transport service can be requested by phone at least two (2) working days in advance. This may also take place earlier, preferably as soon as the client has scheduled his/her appointment.
- A customer who needs guidance at medical facilities must ensure that he/she is taken care of by family members/caregivers at the final destination.
- In some cases an exception can be made, if there is space left in the bus, for family members to travel together with the client. The costs are charged to the client.
- We kindly request that the client is ready on time.
- It is advisable to take some food and medication along.
Please note: if the medical appointment is canceled due to circumstances, please notify one (1) working day in advance; otherwise the costs will still be charged to the client.
